Spring is a time for renewal and in this past year, my purpose has been completely renewed. I am so grateful to have found my sweet spot at the intersection of my personal, professional and passionate life. Last month, I had the pleasure of facilitating an Online Safety for Children and Youth training for CASA/Prince George’s County. They are now gearing up for Spring training. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a CASA or helping us in our mission, please let me know. CASA is a national program, to learn more about the program in your community, visit National CASA.
Also in February, I taught 6 Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) classes for the Prince George’s County Department of Social Services and Joe’s Movement Emporium. This month, I have more classes scheduled with PGDSS, Macedonia Baptist Church, the University of South Carolina and the United Nations. I offer this course for both adults and adults working with youth. As I mentioned in the last newsletter PNK Productions, the company I’ve formed with my childhood besties, is counting down to the launch of our first children’s book.
